Frank B. of our local HobbyTown is sponsoring a point series for both on-road and off-road racing. The points series will run for seven consecutive race events starting April 28th for on-road and May 4th for off-road. This will be a “best five out of seven” series meaning a driver will be allowed to throw out their two lowest point races. If a scheduled race event is rained out, all attempts will be made to make it up at the end of the series. The race schedule is currently posted on the Points Series Standings pages for both on-road (click here) and off-road (coming soon).

Deducting points
2.1) All drivers should help with the setup and teardown of the track. This includes sweeping or blowing off the track, laying out and taking up the pipe, and assisting in the setup and operation of the lap counter. Drivers that do not participate in these activities will be deducted five points.
2.2) Corner marshaling is one of the most important things a driver does on race days. If a driver does not corner marshal, or appoint someone to corner marshal for them, the race immediately after the race they have just run, that driver will be penalized 20 points.
